

Dr. Brooke E. Dishmon Dr. Brooke E. Dishmon was born a 1st generation American and is proud of her Trinidadian heritage. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was raised in Miami, FL. She graduated from Pine Crest Prep in Ft. Lauderdale, while brilliantly earning the title of National Achievement Finalist from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Impressively, she was also an AP scholar (which is accomplished by earning all 3's or higher on AP examinations). Dr. Dishmon attended Xavier University in New Orleans, LA on a full academic scholarship and graduated in a mere 3 years! Her memberships at the university included the Tri Beta Bio Honor Society and the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premed Honor Society. Upon graduation, she attended The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and was member of the Student National Dental Association. Dr. Dishmon is married to Dan and has a four-year-old daughter. Her hobbies include traveling, fine dining, volunteering, spending time with family and close friends, and free-lance modeling. Dr. Dishmon absolutely loves dentistry and loves that the profession allows her to literally heal with a hands-on approach. In her own words, "Working with wonderful patients is the most gratifying experience of all!" Dr. Shermnae D. Jones Dr. Shermnae D. Jones was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated with honors from the Academy of Richmond County, then went on to Spelman College to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. While there she was active with the Health Careers Program and was involved with the Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement program. She was named a Boehringer Ingelheim scholar, was placed on the National Deans List, and won the Georgia Dwelle, M.D. award, which was given to the senior most dedicated to a career in healthcare.
She attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. During her time there, she has served as class representative on the College of Dentistry's Student Government Association, as well as class representative in the College of Dentistry's chapters of the American Dental Education Association and American Association of Women Dentists. She also served as Treasurer of the Student National Dental Association. At graduation, she received the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award. Currently, Dr. Jones is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the National Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists, the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Shelby County Dental Society. She loves spending time with her husband, Jimmie, and their dog, a Yorkipoo named Tyler. She enjoys many activities, to include reading, game playing, and making crafts. Christina T. Rosenthal, DDS Dr. Christina T. Rosenthal is a graduate of The University of Tennessee, Memphis College of Dentistry. A native Memphian,she graduated valedictorian from Northside High School. She continued her studies at The University of Memphis, where she graduated magna cum laude. During her years at The University of Memphis, she served
as a student ambassador for the school, president of her
sorority, and president of The Minority Pre-Health Association.
She received several awards including the All-American
Scholar Award, Who’s Who Among Students in American
Colleges and Universities, and the Dr. Martin Luther King,
Jr. Humanitarian Award. Her versatility in excelling both
in and out of the classroom was evident as she continued
on to professional school. At The University of Tennessee, Memphis College of Dentistry, she was president of The Student National Dental Association, inducted into the IMHOTEP Leadership Society, and served as the student representative for the admissions committee. She was heavily involved in research and as a result, was chosen to represent the school at various meetings throughout the country. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Rosenthal became an associate at a local dental corporation. This experience solidified Dr. Rosenthal’s belief that she was ready to pursue a private practice venture. Notably, Dr. Rosenthal holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Shelby County Dental Society. She and her husband, Arthur, have two children, Arthur III and Artemus Yancey. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling. |
